Joshef Deb
Joshef Deb, the founder and principal architect of Studio Mirda, an architectural firm based in Tripura, India, founded in 2020.
His journey began with the discovery of the Mirda community in northeastern India, whose exceptional construction methods and craftsmanship deeply inspired him. Recognizing the cultural and architectural significance of their traditional techniques, Joshef decided to carry forward their legacy through his architectural practice.
Through innovative and sustainable design, he integrate these ancient techniques with modern architecture, ensuring their legacy endures. His mission in Tripura is to create meaningful architectural projects that honor cultural heritage while fostering community development and environmental sustainability.
